Texas Roller Derby Events

Remember Roller Derby? No? Well... it's still alive and well in some parts of the world (thank god for miracles!). Hot Rod Condoms became the official brand of the Hot Rod Honeys Roller Derby Team in the summer of 2002.

The Honeys are members of the Texas Rollergirls League which was born and bred in Austin, Texas. The League is comprised of 4 teams with a loyal, enthusiastic fan base: The Hell Marys, The Hustlers, Honky Tonk Heartbreakers, and of course, The Hot Rod Honeys.

Public bouts are held at the Playland Skate Center, the Travis County Expo Center, and skating rinks throughout the great state of Texas.

Every Texas Rollergirls bout has a sell out, capacity crowd of 700 at Playland and the main arena of the Travis County Expo Center which has a capacity of 2500.
